Reflective Workbook

The Mission

1 in 5 people are neurodivergent.

Most salons aren’t designed for them.

Salon Spectrum teaches stylists how to create sensory-safe, inclusive experiences that reduce overwhelm, build trust and keep clients coming back.

Better care. Better outcomes. Better business.

It’s time to change salon culture!

Meet Brandy

Brandy Powell started her career as an Occupational Therapist supporting autistic and neurodivergent people. When she retrained as a hairdresser, she naturally drew a neurodivergent clientele and quickly saw the truth: most salon culture is built around ‘typical’ brains, not real people.

A back injury pulled her out from behind the chair, but opened the door to something bigger. Salon Spectrum was born from the belief that salons can be calm, safe and genuinely welcoming when we redesign them with every brain in mind.

Today, Brandy blends therapeutic insight with real salon experience to help stylists rethink the way they work. Through modern, neuroinclusive education, she’s challenging the industry and shaping a more inclusive future for every stylist and every client.
